All creativity starts with a belief in humanity.
Everyone wants to write the epic poem, but alas, who wants to read the damn thing? Anything old enough is interesting. An artist should only be obsessed with the last few works of his or her life. The reason most people can't see God is that they either look too close or too far. Anyone who sits in a bar and considers the rows of bottles before their eyes, realizes that if they drink them all they will die. |

-RedSkelton I don't hate my enemies. After all, I made 'em. -Ibid You don't stop playing because you get old. You get old because you stop playing. If life were easy, anybody could do it. |

Never ask a man the size of his spread. If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging. If you get to thinking you're a person of some influence, try ordering someone else's dog around. A man with an edgy smile is like a dog with a wagging tail: he's not happy, he's nervous. Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement. Remain independent of any source of income that will deprive you of your personal liberties. Trust everybody in the game, but always cut the cards. You can just about always stand more than you think you can. Always try to be a bit nicer than is called for, but don't take too much guff. Only a buzzard feeds on his friends. Speak your mind, but ride a fast horse. Don't let so much reality into your life that there's no room left for dreaming. Never miss a good chance to shut up. Don't get mad at somebody who knows more than you do. It ain't their fault. |

It's not hard to meet expenses ... they're everywhere. If all is not lost, where is it?. I wish the buck stopped here. I sure could use a few ... |

****** Work like you don't need money, ****** We convince ourselves that life will be better when The truth is, there's no better time than right now. Your life will always be filled with challenges. It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway. "For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin, real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten to first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life could begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life." -Alfred D. Souza Stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until the 1st or 15th, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink, until you've sobered up, until you die to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy. |
