In his first draft to incorporate ruins along the Brycelander shoreline, Mark Huelsman places them to the east of the waterfall, so that the side of the hills are seen as have a hidden stairway. Are they ruins of an ancient structure or are they simply an interesting natural phenomenon? Mark works them into the landscape so effortlessly, one cannot tell. This adds to the mystery of the place.
